New York City, NY - As the 2024-205 NBA season draws near, NBA star Austin Reaves and performance footwear brand Rigorer will release new AR1 'Year of Dragon'
The performance footwear brand and Los Angeles Lakers star recently celebrated the one-year anniversary of the AR1 and now have a special release in store, drawing inspiration from the Chinese lunar calendar. The ‘Year of the Dragon’ colorway adds a vibrant twist to Austin Reaves’ first signature shoe, with its inspiration coming from the dragon zodiac sign, which symbolizes power, nobility, honor, luck, and success.

The AR1 ‘Year of the Dragon’ will mark Austin's tenth release from his signature shoe line. This limited edition colorway features a vibrant design combining blue, red, and yellow hues. The shoe incorporates a dragon scale pattern on the upper alongside flame detailing on the midsole. Dragon graphics can be found on the heel, completing this special AR1 release.
